Meet the AI Concierge: How AI-Powered Luxury Travel Actually Works
By Luis Aparicio, Founder · 20 July 2026 · 2 min read

Most "AI" on travel websites is a chatbot that answers opening hours. Ours runs the front desk. This is what it actually does, and — just as important — what it deliberately doesn't.
What it does
Message the concierge as you'd message a well-connected friend: "Two of us, near the V&A, last weekend of August." In one conversation it will:
- Check real availability — live against our booking calendar, not a brochure.
- Quote exact totals — nightly rate, cleaning and service fees included, no reveal-at-checkout surprises.
- Recommend across the whole portfolio — all eight residences, from a £425-a-night Canary Wharf one-bedroom to the £1,650 Thurloe townhouse, matched to your brief rather than whatever is paying for placement.
- Take the booking — it creates your reservation and hands you a secure Stripe checkout link in the chat. Pay, and the calendar blocks instantly; confirmation lands in your inbox.
- Arrange flight quotes — tell it a route and date and it briefs our aviation desk for private jet charter options from licensed operators.
It does this at 3am on a Sunday exactly as well as at 3pm on a Tuesday.
What it deliberately doesn't do
- It doesn't invent. It quotes only real prices from the live system and never fabricates availability, discounts or confirmations.
- It doesn't replace the humans. Complex requests — a specific cot, a late checkout, a jet with a dog on board — hand off to our team, who own and operate every residence.
- It doesn't hoard your data. Your details go into a booking, not a broker's mailing list.
Why we built it this way
Luxury service has always been about anticipation and availability — someone who knows the answer, awake when you ask. Staffing that with humans alone means either voicemail at midnight or a call centre reading scripts. Pairing a genuinely capable AI with a small owner-operator team means the answer is instant and accountable: the same company that replies to your message holds the keys, sets the standard, and meets you at the door.
Try it properly
Don't ask it the weather. Ask it something real: "What would five nights in a two-bedroom with a river view cost in October?" — and watch it check, quote, and offer to book. That's the difference between AI as decoration and AI as the front desk.
