More than afternoon tea
A greeting can express respect before a word is spoken. A pause may signal thoughtfulness in one culture and discomfort in another. A title, a gift, or the moment a guest departs can carry meanings invisible to those who have never been shown.
Laura brings these details to life through the ritual of British afternoon tea. You will explore graceful introductions, conversation, dining, posture, invitations, dress and the subtle signals that shape distinguished encounters. This is not a lesson in rigid rules. It is the art of making others feel comfortable while remaining entirely yourself.
