The area
Bluewaters is one of Dubai’s newer islands, developed by Meraas just offshore from Jumeirah Beach Residence. It is compact and walkable, with residential buildings, hotels and a waterfront promenade of restaurants and cafés.
Its appeal is the scale: a quiet, walkable island with the energy of the Marina and JBR across the footbridge whenever you want it, and views back across the water to the Marina towers.
Nearby
Across the footbridge, Dubai Marina and the beach at JBR are a short walk. Along the coast, Palm Jumeirah has the resort hotels and beach clubs of the Crescent.
Getting around
- A footbridge crosses to the beach and The Walk at JBR.
- A road bridge links the island to Sheikh Zayed Road, for a car to the rest of the city.
- The Dubai Tram along JBR, and the Metro Red Line at Sobha Realty and DMCC, are across the bridge.
- A chauffeur can be arranged for the stay, which suits journeys to Downtown and DIFC.

How a stay in Bluewaters Island is arranged
We have no apartments of our own in Dubai. An apartment in Bluewaters Island is arranged through a partner, by enquiry: you tell the concierge your dates, party and what matters, and our team confirms the apartment, whose it is, what it costs and the terms in writing before you commit to anything. Every apartment we put forward for a short stay holds a holiday home permit from Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism.
Around the stay we coordinate the rest of the visit: a chauffeur or airport transfer, restaurant reservations, and a private jet through licensed operators.
