Dubai Marina in short
- Best for: a lively waterfront stay with the beach on foot, and longer stays.
- Character: residential towers around the marina, Marina Walk along the water, and The Walk at JBR by the beach.
- Getting around: Sobha Realty and DMCC on the Metro Red Line, and the Dubai Tram through the Marina and JBR.
- Our apartments: none of our own; a Marina apartment is arranged through a partner, by enquiry.
The area
The Marina is one of Dubai’s most complete neighbourhoods: towers of residences and hotels around a long, man-made marina, with yachts at the moorings and Marina Walk running along the water, lined with restaurants and cafés.
The beach is a few streets away at Jumeirah Beach Residence, where The Walk runs behind the sand with shops, restaurants and beach clubs. It is busier than the Palm or Jumeirah, and many guests choose it for exactly that.
Nearby
Just offshore from JBR, Bluewaters Island is reached across a footbridge from the beach. Across the water, Palm Jumeirah is a short drive, or a tram and monorail ride away.
Getting around
- Sobha Realty (formerly Dubai Marina) and DMCC (formerly Jumeirah Lakes Towers) stations are on the Metro Red Line.
- The Dubai Tram runs through the Marina and along JBR, and connects with the Palm Monorail at Palm Gateway.
- Boats leave from the marina for charters along the coast.
- Sheikh Zayed Road runs along the district’s inland edge, for a car to Downtown and DIFC.

How a stay in Dubai Marina is arranged
We have no apartments of our own in Dubai. An apartment in Dubai Marina is arranged through a partner, by enquiry: you tell the concierge your dates, party and what matters, and our team confirms the apartment, whose it is, what it costs and the terms in writing before you commit to anything. Every apartment we put forward for a short stay holds a holiday home permit from Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism.
Around the stay we coordinate the rest of the visit: a chauffeur or airport transfer, restaurant reservations, and a private jet through licensed operators.
Common questions
Do you have your own apartments in Dubai Marina?
Not yet. We have no apartments of our own in Dubai. An apartment here is arranged through a partner, and we tell you whose it is, what it costs and the terms, in writing, before you commit.
Is the beach close to Dubai Marina?
Yes. The beach at Jumeirah Beach Residence, with The Walk behind it, is a few streets from the marina.
Which Metro stations serve Dubai Marina?
Sobha Realty, formerly Dubai Marina station, and DMCC, formerly Jumeirah Lakes Towers, both on the Red Line. The Dubai Tram also runs through the district.
Are holiday apartments in the Marina licensed?
Yes. Any apartment let for stays of less than a year in Dubai must hold a holiday home permit from the Department of Economy and Tourism, and we only put forward apartments that hold one.
